Umaid Mahal - A Heritage Style Boutique Hotel

Ambience.

We had booked the stay with breakfast but on arrival it was informed by the front desk that our booking is without breakfast and we had to pay separately for the same. Pick up was also not provided despite notified at the time of booking.

Everything was amazing, they are super clean and comfortable, the room was very big, beautiful hotel and decor, delicious breakfast buffet and the staff is incredible. My favorite part of all was the cab driver I got from the hotel...He is the best!!!

Food menu has a lot of common dishes that you find everywhere. Felt it should have more authentic Rajasthani food items like Bajra roti and other items.

A pleasant stay. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Excellent shower. Overall a good stay.

Rooms were a good size but we were a family of 4 adults and the room was definitely not suitable. Maybe for 2 adults and 2 children. There are no windows so felt claustrophobic. Breakfast in basement room. I would not call this a Mahal.

Amazing looking exteriors and interiors. It feels like you've entered a separate world after stepping inside. Room was very spacious and beautiful. The staff were helpful and accommodating

There were cockroaches in our room. Washroom vent wasn't working I asked staff 3 times to fix it but no one show up to fix.

Rooms were dirty, not cleaned

We loved the beautiful heritage décor and the traditional Rajasthani architecture throughout the property. The rooms were clean, spacious, and gave a royal feel. The staff was polite, helpful, and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. The rooftop dining area was charming and the ambience felt very warm and homely. Overall, it was a comfortable stay for our family and the kids really enjoyed the heritage vibe.

None everyone was perfect

Staff courtesy could be improved.When AC was not working, the technician came at night and cleaned the filter in the room making the room dirty.Maintenance of the property is poor.Breakfast serving staff is not attentive.

I stayed two nights at this hotel in Jaipur, and it truly felt like something out of a fairytale. It is the most unique and beautiful hotel I’ve ever experienced, worth every single rupee just for the atmosphere and history. You can wander around for hours, admiring and photographing the ancient art and architecture.The rooms are huge, clean, and very comfortable. The entire staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful – they even upgraded my room at no extra cost when the street noise bothered me. The food was delicious, and every night there was a wonderful authentic performance of music, singing, and dancing.

The room was well furnished and spacious. The housekeeping staff deserve special mention for the great job they did. The breakfast buffet was superb.

The restaurant service for dining was a bit slow.

A little hyped hotel. It's all good, clean but not worth the high price tag due to its location and room size.

Room size wasn't good for two adults and two kids. Restaurant - price of items relatively more but nice dining experience.

Superb stay in Palace set up rooms, Breakfast & Dinner is superb & nice. Through hotel we can arrange our transportation to visit all tourist places in Jaipur.

Swimming pool don’t have temperature control and there is no washing facilities. Better they can keep a washing machine in the hotel so that it will be helpful for long stay tourists.
